User Obligations

You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of your property data and compliance records. Our platform assists with compliance tracking, but legal responsibility remains with the landlord.

Limitation of Liability

LandlordSafe is a compliance management tool, not legal counsel. We are not liable for fines, penalties, or damages resulting from non-compliance or misuse of the platform.

1. Use of the Service

  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
  • You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials.
  • The service is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied.
  • We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the service at any time.

2. Subscription and Payments

  • Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis as per your chosen plan.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time, but no refunds will be provided for partial months.
  • We may change our pricing with 30 days notice to active subscribers.

3. Property Compliance Responsibility

  • LandlordSafe provides tools to track compliance dates and documents (e.g., Gas Safety, EPC, EICR).
  • However, the ultimate legal responsibility for ensuring properties meet all local, national, and UK regulatory requirements rests solely with the landlord or property owner.
  • We do not guarantee that using our service will prevent compliance violations or penalties.

4. Intellectual Property

  • All content, features, and functionality of LandlordSafe are owned by us and are protected by international copyright and intellectual property laws.
  • You retain ownership of the data and documents you upload to the platform.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
